She'd walked into the lab all lavender and cooked sugar with dark hair and hazel eyes. She was clever, calm, witty, and by all means smart. Her smile was radiant and her laugh was the cutest thing Bruce had ever heard before in his life.
It took him two weeks to finally grow a pair and introduce himself to her. You'd think someone as pretty as she was would have confidence seeping through her pours but she was just as shy as Bruce. "I'm Lizbeth." She answered.
Then of course they were ripped away from each other. Bruce having to get back to the lab and Lizbeth forced back to wherever it was she worked. Life was funny that way.
For the next six months they saw each other here and sometimes they caught lunch together. Bruce finally asked Lizbeth on a real date and she accepted, which made the Hulk do some weird little dance because he liked Lizbeth too. Hulk wanted to make it safe for Lizbeth.
Things slowly moved from there and when they finally took their relationship went to the next level they always went back to Lizbeth's apartment. Around the tower the others had their suspensions that Bruce was up to something and bets were placed about what it could be.
Bruce had managed to get Jarvis on his side with timings that everyone woke up and when he had the safest window for sneaking back in. Jarvis was on his side and sworn to secrecy. But it was only a matter of time before Bruce got caught.
Bruce wandered into the kitchen one morning looking for coffee. "Morning Bruce."
"Coffee." Had been Bruce's reply. There was a chuckle from Tony as he poured the man a cup and passed it to him. Bruce added his milk and sugar and sat down with the others only he forgot one thing.
No one knew she was there until she walked into the kitchen wearing boy shorts and one of Bruce's overly large buttons down. A slightly sleepy look on her face as she ran her fingers through her dark curly locks wandering over to the fridge. "Bruce where's the mi—" Lizbeth gave a nervous chuckle as she pulled the front of her shirt down and blushed a deep shade of red along with Bruce.
"Well this is lovely." Lizbeth confessed as she started heading back towards the kitchen entrance. One she made the door frame Lizbeth turned tail and ran back to Bruce's room.
"Well I'll see you guys later." Bruce made a move to stand up but was forced back down into his seat.
"So you wanna explain that?"
"Not really."
Lizbeth dashed back into the kitchen still wearing Bruce's shirt with her jeans thrown on haphazardly, her boots on and her hair a mess from rushing. "I'll see you later babe." Lizbeth planted a kiss right on him and dashed over to the elevator that happened to open at that moment for Phil to walk in.
"Hi Phil. Bye Phil." Lizbeth pressed the down button quickly disappearing from view.
"Was that Lizbeth Turner?" the agent asked.
"Yup apparently she's dating Brucie over here." Clint smiled at the doctor.
"Okay you know what you caught me, us. I'm dating Lizbeth so be it am I'm happy and so is the Hulk. She's everything I look for in a woman and I'm going to now go call her and have breakfast with her." Bruce stood up disappearing from the kitchen.
Once they were sure he was out of earshot Natasha was the first to speak.
"'Bout damn time." She turned back to her cereal.
"That's for sure."
