Alternate ending 1
"What do you know ?" Peter asked concerned
"If I tell you , you'll know to ." Gamora said .
She wanted to tell him , she really wanted to ... But she knew she couldn't if she did he would be in mortal danger and she didn't need that on her conscious .
"If it's so important ... Shouldn't I ?"
He was insisting to know , she had to convince him otherwise , she couldn't have him know , she really couldn't .
"Only if you wanna die ." she told him
"Why does somebody always has to die in this scenario ?"
Peter was confused he just wanted to know . Why was Gamora hidding this from him?
"Just ...Trust me and possibly kill me ."
What the hell did she mean , why would he need to kill her and why was she expecting him to do it ?
"I would like to , I really would but ..." he joked
Couldn't he see she was serious ?! Why wasn't he taken this seriously ? This was important !
"Swear to me on your mother ."
"Okay , okay ..."
Gamora leaned closer to him and the two shared a kiss , before being interupted by Drax .
Thanos had cornered them , holding Gamora , daring him to shoot .
"I love you more than anything" she told him
"I love you to ."
He pulled the trigger closing his eyes and fired .
"No !" he heard Thanos cry "What did you do ?!"
Peter oppened his eyes finding Thanos holding a limp , dead Gamora in his arms .
"I did what she asked me to do ." he said trying to hold back his tears .
Thanos turned back leaving , he still had the gauntlet but at least he didn't have the soul stone for now ... Peter crumpled to the ground next to Gamora's dead body , sobbing ... He had held his promise but at what price ?
