Disclaimer: I in no way, shape, or form own Glee, no matter how much I dream of it. and trust me, I do dream of it.
Well, CeliaLauna requested that I make concert from my word processor story, Words of Their Lives, into a one-short. So, here it goes! Hope it doesn't disappoint.
As the year went on everyone in Glee became a lot closer. Finn eventually forgave Puck, Santana wasn't as bitchy, Tina and Artie finally started to date, and even Rachael became less of a diva. But, the most surprising of all was how close Puck and Kurt became.
It happened when the two were forced into being partners for one of Schue's Glee projects. At first they just barely tolerated each other, but when Puck found out Kurt's secret love of Star Wars and Kurt learned that Puck was actually an excellent cook, the two started to talk a little more. Eventually the two became close friends, closer than Puck and Finn ever were. Puck even revealed to Kurt that he thought he might be bisexual.
Kurt hated himself when he started falling for Puck. He didn't want to ruin their friendship. But, when he heard that he might be bi, Kurt was over the moon. He might have a chance! He tried fir weeks to give hints, to show that he liked Puck more than a friend. A touch here or there, leaning a little closer than necessary, just little things like that. But, Puck could not a take a hint! Finally Kurt thought it best to just tell him. He asked Puck to meet him after the clubs last concert for the year.
And that is why Kurt is in the music room pacing, looking like a nervous wreck. He was fine all through the concert, but after he talked briefly with his dad and got to the music room all this nervous energy entered his body.
'What was I thinking? I can't tell Noah I like him! Even if he is bi why would he ever like someone like me? I should just leave while I can. But, then he'll ask me what I wanted to meet him for and why I left… Oh, great. That's him… What am I gonna do?' Kurt thought anxiously.
"Hey. Sorry I took so long. My sister wouldn't shut up about the concert. So, what did you wanna talk about?"
"Um… I… forget. Yup, I totally forgot. So I'll just be going."
Kurt tried to leave, but Puck stopped him knowing something was wrong.
"Kurt. What is it?"
"It's stupid. Doesn't matter." Kurt mumbled as he tried to think of something he could tell the handsome jock.
"Just tell me." Puck said as he sat the two down on the piano bench and placed a comforting hand on Kurt's back.
"You'll hate me if I do…"
"Unless you killed my sister, which I'm pretty sure you didn't considering I just saw her, I don't think I'd hate you." Puck joked, trying to lighten the smaller boy's moods.
"Ilikeyou." Kurt said as fast as quiet as possible.
"Kurt… I don't speak gibberish."
"I like you, okay! I understand if you don't want to ever talk to me again. I'll just-"
Kurt was cut of by Puck's lips. The kiss was brief and gentle. When the kiss ended Kurt just looked at Puck with a confused expression on his face.
"You were ranting… I had to shut you up somehow. Kurt, listen, I don't hate you. I far from hate you."
"I don't understand... You don't hate me?"
"Not at all."
Puck kissed Kurt again. It was a harder, more forceful kiss than the first. Again when they broke apart Kurt looked confused.
"I wasn't ranting that time." Kurt said as if Puck didn't already know.
"I know."
"Then, why did you kiss me?"
"I like you, you dope."
"Oh."
There wasn't too much talking after that.
Reviews are very much appreciated.
