The world of the Serengeti, fraught with danger,
The lone meerkat is paralyzed with fear.
Hyenas encircle him,
Drooling and laughing as they draw near.
A loud grunt is sounded from the bush,
Stopping the predators in their tracks.
The warthog reveals himself,
Pawing the ground, ready to attack.
The hyenas tried to be brave,
Gnashing their teeth, trying to appear large,
But that facade didn't last long.
The pig began his charge.
The beasts knew what he intended to do
The warthog snorted in satisfaction,
They wouldn't be around again.
The meerkat move from the corner he was pinned
And climbed on the back of his friend.
Good thing I came when I did, eh Timon?"
I knew you'd come; friends stick together till the end."
