Victorie

Another New Years' Eve came, and this time who was suffering from the dissastrous effects of the OWL's was poor Victorie, that in order to escape from Dominique and try to study was hiding over one of the trees.

This is pathetic, she thought discouraged as she tried to understand why was the Goblin's rebellion so important. Have to hid over a tree to study without being bothered by your siblins is the end, she thought.

"Victorie" she heard James call, and pulled a branch particularly big to cover herself. She had already tied up her hair so it wouldn't fall over her face or call her attention, but apparently kids loved her.

As she saw the boy walk away she felt relief, but soon she almost jumped when she felt a hot breath on her neck and a known voice whsiper.

"Hello, Victorie."

She almost screamed, but a hand tapped her mouth and a pair of big yellow eyes with narrow pupils stared at her.

"T-Ted?"

His eyes became suddenly brown as he started to breathe again.

"How did you find me here?"

"I would sense your perfume even if you were inside a lake."

Unwittingly she smiled and felt Ted grab the book from her hands.

"History of Magic?"

"Yeah, I'm not that good."

"Me either. Got an E last year.

"Congratulations for the grades." Victorie rolled her eyes but shivered when Ted leaned on a closer branch to talk.

"Thanks, but I'll pass the annoyance." he laughed, and Victorie noticed he was red-headed for the night. "Are you seeing the fireworks from here?"

"I don't know."

In am impulse, Ted got closer to her.

"You're amazing." and kissed get quickly on the lips. Victorie smiled and closed the book.

"You take away my concentration like this."

"You can do them, Vic. You just need to relax." he finished with a whisper in her ear.

"How did you climb here?"

"I've got wolf blood." he said simply "It doesn't take much effort for simple climbs like this. Look, I need to tell you something... It's sort of stuck sisnce last year. "

"Yes?" Victorie said lower than a whisper. Ted approached, his eyes becoming yellow again and his pupils narrowng.

"I love you. See you at Hogwarts, maybe."

"Yes, maybe..." she closed her eyes, waiting for his lips again.

But then she felt nothing but the cold of the night. A distant howl made her open her eyes and the only thing she saw was her hand holding a note and a sunflower.

We meet under the spring sun, sweet Victorie. Study at parties is not good, an old friend said. Meet me at my room for the fireworks.

Ted.
