I walk to Ponyville, sighing. Moving from Canterlot was a hard thing to do. I had loved helping out in the Nightmare Night store. Sadly, it had gone out of business, and I was sent to Ponyville.
One of my friends told me that there was a princess here. The princess of friendship. They had told me that I should meet her. Telling me that I was their best friend. I walked to the castle. Wow, this is beautiful! I walk up to the door, and it opens.
"Hi! You must be Sparkling Crystal." A female voice said.
"Just Crystal is fine. You're Twilight Sparkle?"
"Yup! I'm so happy to have you here!"
I walk in with her, looking around in amazement. We walk into a room with a large map on a table, and other ponies!
"This is..." I start to say.
A blue pegasus looks at me, mouth dropped.
"Is something wrong?"
"Umm..." She flies away, dragging Twilight. I hear mumbling, and they come back in.
"And I thought today would be normal..." Twilight sighs.
"What? Is everything ok?"
"I'm not sure... It's definitely not normal." Twilight looks down at my hooves.
I look down, then gasp. Right under my hooves, the crystal floor glows. I pick up my hoof, and it stops. I look up.
"Does this normally happen here?"
"No... No it doesn't..." Twilight flies around, grabbing things. I hear many voices I don't recognize.
"Darling, you'll mess up my mane."
"Is it a party?!"
"Oh, I hope it's not too bad..."
"Dang, there's somethin' you don't see everyday."
"We'll have to figure this out with science!" Twilight flies over to me and hooks me up to some weird machine.
"Open your wings." I open my wings slowly, not wanting to show them.
"Woah... It's- it's incredible!" The blue pegasus flies over. She inspects my wings, then steps back. "Has it always been like this?"
"Well... It's complicated..."
"I think it'll be awesome!"
"When I was a filly, my school had gone on a field trip to the Crystal Empire. I was so excited, partially because my name was Crystal. We went during the time Sombra was just about to take over. He had captured my entire class. We were scared, all holding each other close. I had tried to run away, and he grabbed me with his magic. I showed no fear of him. He just laughed at me. As a permanent reminder of what happened, he made the inside of my wings crystal. I don't know what his intentions were... And I don't know if he still had them."
"Woah." The blue pegasus walks over to me. "I'm Rainbow Dash! Sorry I didn't introduce myself before."
One by one, everyone greets me. They're all really sweet ponies. I now understand how important some friends really are.
