It's a Wednesday night and Ashley is in her hotelroom flipping through the channels. She's trying to keep her mind off her girlfriend who she's hasn't seen in three weeks. It's been a hectic year with a lot of traveling and calling one another. When they're together, the two are attached to the hip. And even though they are apart from each other most of the time, Ashley still can't get used to the empty feeling in her heart.
Ashley sighed 'God this sucks.' She thought, 'There's never anything good on tv when you need it!'
She decided to stick with MTV 'Maybe they'll decide to play some music again.' At 11 o'clock Pimp My Ride popped up and Ashley thought that maybe she would survive the night. During the show, Ashley's cell went off. It played Nickelback's Far Away.

'Hey baby', Ashley greeted with a smile.
'Hey sexy', the person on the other side replied, 'what are you doing?'
'Oh nothing, just watching some tv' she anwered.
'Really? What're you watching?'
'Uh… Pimp My Ride' she answered slightly confused, 'Why?'
'Just curious. Maybe we were watching the same show.'
'Well… are we?' Ashley asked.
'No.'
Just then Ashley heard a knock on the door.
'Sweetie, could you hold on a sec? Someone's knocking on the door' Ashley said.
'Oh really? Are you cheating on me Ms. Massaro?' the other person joked.
'Well you know me…' Ashley started as she walked towards the door, 'When I miss you I just get Michelle to put on a red wig, pretend it's you and have my way with her' she finished with a smile.
'Then it's okay. As long as she's pretending it's me.' Amy answered.
'Nothing to worry about there, babe.' Ashley said as she had her hand on the doorknob.
Ashley opened the door and she stared at the person in front of her as if she'd seen a ghost.
After a few moments the other person started 'You know… This isn't really what I had in mind. I thought I'd surprise you, you'd jump in my arms and kiss me.' Amy said. 'Maybe we should do it again. I'll close the door.'
Just then Ashley jumped in her arms and kissed her passionately.
'Now that was what I expected.' Amy said with a teasing smile.
'Am I really that predictable?' Ashley asked with a pout.
'No honey, of course you're not...' Amy replied, getting a smile out of Ashley.
'You surprised me by looking at me as if you'd seen a ghost.' She teased with a smile.
Ashley just rolled her eyes and pulled her into the hotelroom.
'Shut up and kiss me' Ashley said as she pulled Amy into a heated kiss.
