Twilight of Truth
As the sun slowly begins to set
And as I watch I remember when we met
You were young and you weren't silent
I was confused and liked to be quiet
Now I sit, the memories flowing
And I remember you, with your smiling glowing
I cry out as I watch the blood fall
And I am so confused I barely hear your call
But you bring me back, because you love me so

As the rain falls, memories shall drown
My heart is not there, as I fall down
The doves fly past my eyes, into the light
I sit in the cold, never coming back, lost my ability of flight
But there you also sitting, looking into my eyes
Flames of love shine bright, never telling lies
Why did I leave, why didn't you follow?
You left me, or I left you, to wallow
I thought no one would miss me, but I guess I was wrong
I want you to stay, stay very long
Now we fight, defying the destinies we set
