Letters to families never sent

Katniss and Peeta are the victors, but they didn't know that all along. These are the letters they wrote to their families incase they lost.

Dear Gayle,

If your reading this, that means that I lost the games. I am so sorry to you and my family. I wrote this letter on the train to you, I also wrote one to my family and Peeta wrote one for his loved ones to.

I need you to take care of Prim and Mother. They wont survive alone. I can rest in peace knowing that you and my family are safe. Just remember, whatever happens in the games. I love you. Burn this letter now.

Dear Mom and Prim,

I wrote a similar letter to Gayle, He will take care of you. I need you to stay strong. After the games, lay low. Do not draw attention to yourself in any way. If Snow tries to hunt you down find Haymitch and Gayle and run into the woods. Don't take the cat or the goat. I know that Dad would say the same thing of he was here.

I love you both always. Throw this letter in the fire, make sure it burns.

Dear Mother and Father,

I assume that I am going to loose the games and so do you. I am writing this letter to ensure that when I am gone, you are safe. We may not have been close but your still my parents and I care about you. I am not that worried about you, we have more then enough. I am also asking that you help Katniss and her family. Thank you. Give my regards to my brothers. Remember to burn this letter.
