A Garcia-Shapiro Christmas

The snow touched down lightly on the lawn of the Garcia-Shapiro home in the living room Isabella sat on the couch with her head on Phineas's shoulder watching T.V and just enjoying the company. Beside them on the chair Adam and Katie sat in the same position all of them laughing at the Christmas special that had just began. The had been watching for about an hour when there mother came in.

"You kids are still watching T.V?" she exclaimed looking at her children as if they were insane. "We have to decide which holiday were going to celebrate this year." She said exasperatedly. Adam and Isabella both groaned in displeasure. Their mother had been like this ever since the end of thanksgiving and now a week before Christmas when they had already done all there shopping she was still trying to decide between Christmas and Hanuka.

They really did love there mother, but as of yet she had ;not decided so Adam finally chose to put an aend to her stress mostly because it was getting rather irritating.

"Mom, calm down a little please which holiday did you celebrate last year?" Adam said looking from his mother to his sister.

"Hanukah." Isabella said finally.

"Well then we should celebrate Christmas this year." Adam said .

"But, Uncle Charlie won't like that the family is coming for the holidays after all." Vivian said shaking her head.

Adam and Isabella had forgotten about that and were momentarily stumped as to what they should do now. Then Isabella spoke:

"Why don't we celebrate both then?" she asked and everyone in the room looked at her curious as she began to detail the idea that had popped into her head.

So on December 25th The Garcia-Shapiro home was filled with Christmas tree's and manora's and everyone was having a great time even Uncle Charlie who could usually find something wrong with everything had no complaints about what they had come to call Christmakah.

"You, know kids what with the last minute decision and scramble for decerations we may not have presents till New years." Vivian said thinking her kids would both snap.

Instead they smiled at her and said together;

"We're okay with that now go enjoy the family time."

She smiled at them and said: "You do know it's creepy when you two do that right?"

They just smiled at her and laughed walking over towards Katie and Phineas who were both stuck in a conversation with Uncle Charlie and looked to be in desprit need of salvation.

Vivian smiled at the twins departing backs. There was no doubt that Isabella was sometime too nice and that Adam had a short temper, but no one could deniae that they both seemed to have a firm grasp of what the holidays were really about.

She turned and went over too talk with her sister, not noticing as she did that Adam and Isabella had each snuck upstairs with minor stink bombs in hand they may have been okay with no presents, but still they needed a way to de-stress too.
