Early Morning in the Leaf
It was early morning in the Hidden Leaf Village. Most of the population was still asleep or just getting up to start their day. Although, there are always those who are early risers.
"Youuuuuth!"
"Come on, Lee! Just because the war is over is no excuse to not train!"
Ah yes. Rock Lee and Might Guy, the village's green, spandex clad tai-jutsu masters. Well, former master on one account. But Might Guy didn't let a little thing like a wheelchair stop him from helping his star pupil in the early hours.
"Yes, Guy-Sensei! My flames of youth burn bright today! I will do double the training, once for myself and again for you! If I can't, then I will run 500 laps around the village! And 500 for you, Guy-Sensei!" Lee exclaimed with tears running down his face.
"Lee, your flames burn brighter and you are filled with more youth than ever! I shall train my arms until my flames are as bright as yours!" Guy too had tears putting down his face.
"Guy-Sensei!"
"Lee!"
"Guy-Sensei!"
"Lee!"
"Guy-Sensei!"
"Lee!"
As they embraced in the early dawn hours, a strange phenomenon occurred. A beach, complete with palm trees and framed by the setting sun, appeared behind the two green clad men.
Kakashi Hatake, the Sixth Hokage, was walking around the village when he spotted the two and their Sunset Genjutsu.
'After all these years, I still am not used to that,' he thought. Shaking his head to clear the images he was subjected to, he continued on his way to the Hokage tower.
"Another morning in Konaha."
