Basch and Vaan where just talking when Basch brought up the fact that he thought Balthier was...
"You know what I mean Vaan. Not straight, nor bi you know."
"You mean gay."
An awkward silence fell for a few moments till a very Archadian accent filled the room.
"So is that what you think of me"
Vaan just stood up slowly, sighed and said "So Balthier, are you gay?"
Balthier strolled up to Vaan, lent over and kissed him on the lips for some time. Meanwhile Basch who was still sitting down, was shocked and didn't know what to do, what to think and what to say. He just sat there awkwardly; he didn't want to interrupt them. When they had finished Balthier whispered something in Vaan's ear and they both left, leaving a very stunned Basch still sitting there shocked.
That night Basch couldn't sleep because he still had the image of Vaan and Balthier in his head. But the noises he could hear from Balthier's room didn't help.
