Fuck. Cam tried to writhe out of the ropes he was tide in. The Sophia bitch aimed a starshot at Gabbe like a shark circling its prey. Oh Gabbe, the beautiful blond was in a trance, too oblivious to the other Elder about too suck out her soul. God, Cam was trying his best, Gabbe was not going to die tonight. Not ever. He was going to make sure of that as he broke free of the ropes. Running towards her as fast as a motherfucking cheetah.

Gabbe avoided the Elder as fast as she could. Ripping out her neck. She punched the side of her face and plunged her hand into her chest. Squashing her heart in half as the Elder slumped to the ground in dust. Now came the starshot, hoarding towards Gabbe and Cam thought he was too late but he kept on running. Gabbe broke a piece of concrete, and the starshot went through it with so much force it could have killed her. But she survived. Cam skidded to a stop as Gabbe slumped to the ground in exhaustion.

"NO!" Sophia screamed, Cam came up behind and locked her in a chock hold. She tried to scream but Cam was too strong. He snapped her neck in half, plunged a starshot into her heart. Now she was dead out cold. He preferred it that way. No one will ever touch a single golden blond hair on Gabbe's head for as long as he lived. If anyone does, their head is coming off.

"Cam! Come here!" He heard Molly yell from across the field. He ran towards her and skidded to his knees. Picking up Gabbe's head and setting it down on his lap. Molly looked worried as hell. Cam was so scared as he checked her pulse, but she was alive and barely breathing. He put his lips to hers. Breathing air inside her.

Molly was watching intently on the two. She knew Cam would give up his life for Gabbe and everything for her. Those two were practically in love, but they didn't say anything for the sake of The Throne. What would they think? An angel and a demon. Together. It was barbaric. But they made it look so good, so natural. As Steven and Francesca were in love for a thousand years, centuries actually. So were Cam and Gabbe. Sometimes the angels would see them stealing wee glances and looks. Cam and Gabbe bickered like two siblings but it was enough to notice that they were crazy about each other.

Gabbe coughed up spit. Her chest heaving to suck up air. Cam sighed in relief, checking her body for brusies.

"Did anyone kiss me?" Oh yes.

Cam helped her up. grabbing her and giving her a bone crushing hug.

"You must have really missed me." She said, hugging him back with much more force.

"Oh Gabbe, you don't know how worried I w-" He stopped as he realized what he was about to say.

"I mean I'm glad that you're okay." Gabbe had a shocked expression. She scoffed and pulled away from Cam. Pushing him back haughtily.

"Gabbe, Gabbe, where are you going?" He caught up with her as she walked towards Molly.

"Gabbe, come here," He stopped her in her tracks, and cupped the sides of her face. Looking deep into her eyes he asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yes, Cam. I'm fine." She snapped, "Let's just find the others."

Cam spent the next few hours thinking about how Gabbe acted. He fully realized he cared about her but didn't say anything. How stupid of him to think that Gabbe would have taken that lightly.

But he was going to make this right with her. After the war of course. Gabbe is a queen that was born to lead. And was going to make her feel powerful. In the fucked up way he was, he loves her like no other.
