Let You Down

A/N ( Yes I know, ANOTHER one-shot based on Three Days Grace...) One-shot. Post ROTS, Vader thinks back to the moment he decided to become a Sith. He had let the galaxy down. How could he possibly fulfill his destiny? Or was this the Force's sick, twisted away of doing so. Plesae R and R. Not a song-fic, based off song Let You Down by Three Days Grace.

Trust me, the Force had told him. Like always Anakin listened. How was he supposed to know that the Force, though it made him powerful, only had created him to use for its means either good or bad.
There's no need to fear, Everyone had told him. His friends had warned him against it from day one.
Fear.
Yet, Anakin had feared all the same.
The spirt's of the dark, Sith lords were waiting. They were waiting for him to become one of them.
He had.
Anakin had felt the fear grip his heart in a grasp even tighter than that of Vader's choke to his victim's.
But, the Force had whispered to him, in a soft, tugging voice that he'd be safe with Palpatine, with the Sith. It meant nothing to the Force what became of Anakin Skywalker, or Darth Vader he was only its instrument. Anakin was only its tool; he meant nothing.
Anakin had finally trusted in the Force, believed in it even, and the Force had let him down withought so much as one care. To the Force this was what had to happen.
And it did.
Trust Me, Anakin had urged the council. The council had trusted their chosen one. The council had believed in the twisted ways of the Force and where were the Jedi now?
Gone, along with Anakin Skywalker, all that was left was a disfigured Darth Vader, and a dark time full of the Empire's hate.
The Force had gained his trust, then let him down.
So Anakin had fallen into the never ending pit of destruction, he had sold his soul to the devil, he became Darth Vader.
Anakin had the trust of all of the Jedi! Even the Republic! Anakin let them down.
They fell, and fell, and just like the Force Anakin didn't care.
That was all this galaxy was ever about, Vader mused, letting others down.
Vader could let the galaxy down again, the Force; however, had its own plan. And like always the Force gets what it wants.
