A/N: MOCKINGJAY SPOILERS! Please do not continue to read this if you have not yet read Mockingjay. This story takes place during the time after President Snow is killed, but before all of the arenas have been destroyed. I don't really know where I'm going with this yet, but please feel free to include suggestions and criticism in your review! And for those of you who missed this part in the book, it as decided that there would be a final Games with Capitol children who were direct relatives to those in charge of the war on the capitol's side. This POV is of President's Snow Granddaughter, who I have named Annabella.

"Tomorrow's a big, big, big day," I whisper to myself. The Hunger Games. The 76th Hunger Games, which I will be a part of. I don't really understand the logic behind it. My grandfather was a tyrant, okay, but what does this have to do with me? I mean, really, the war is over, isn't it? And doesn't that mean no more Games? I sigh, thinking about the whole mess.
I was absolutely positive that day two weeks ago when they announced my name on television. Positive, that there would be some compassionate, strong willed young girl to step up and take my place as I had seen happen so many times before. But they did not allow it this time. No substitutions, only death for the twenty-four chosen.
Being what most would consider 'privileged,' I wasn't in any way prepared for the training I have been going through for the past couple weeks. All the stuff I've watched over the years, well I've found out it's a lot worse. Like, by a lot. And for these Games, which we've all been assured will be the last, there's none of the previous showboating crud. Nope, we just train, and train, and eat cheap food. And tomorrow, we die.
So while I'm sitting here on my bed, having seen my family for what I'm sure was the last time, I'm thinking one thing. 'Why Mockingjay? I thought you were above this...'
