Fairy Encounter (Jasper Hale one-shot)
I do not own Twilight in any way.
A new girl arrived in Forks.
Jasper was the first to notice the girl was anything but human.
She walked with the grace of a vampire. She was small, smaller than Alice. Her skin seemed to glow in the sunlight.
He followed her into the woods and watched wings burst from her back.
They were clear and they were dangling from her back.
"She's not human and she has wings", Jasper told Carlisle.
Carlisle took a book from a shelf and flipped thru the pages. "I believe you have stumbled upon your first fairy", Carlisle said.
"Those exist?" Jasper asked.
"Yes. They normally live in the underground. They despise humans", Carlisle said.
Jasper found out the fairy's name was Claire. He noticed that she talked to humans, but had no friends.
Maybe this fairy was different.
Claire could sense someone watching her in the forest the other day.
All of her senses screamed 'vampire'.
She went to the forest and released her wings. She felt a presence. She whipped around and found a boy watching her.
"You have nothing to fear", the boy told her.
"Vampire", Claire hissed.
"Yes, but my family and I only drink the blood of animals", he told her, "I'm Jasper Whitlock Hale".
"Claire", she said, "You're the missing Major".
"Yes I am", Jasper said.
"I've tracked you for ages", Claire said.
"Why?" Jasper asked.
"From the moment a fairy is born, they destined to mate with one person, whether they be human, vampire, or shifter. I was born to mate with you", Claire said.
"Carlisle failed to mention that", Jasper said softly.
"It's not a well known fact", Claire said.
"Will you stay?" Jasper asked.
"I'm sure I could", Claire said.
