"Do you love me Ludi?"
"Of course I do Italia."
"Ve~" Feli sat up in bed and put his face in his hands. Another dream about Ludwig and another broken heart. Two weeks ago Ludwig had told him he had to leave. Feli didn't know where, Ludwig wouldn't tell him. He just knew he was gone and he wanted him back. He was lonely. Sure his friends came to visit and he got to see the new babies, but they would leave eventually.
"Ludi…" Feli picked up Ludwig's pillow and hid his face in it. He inhaled deeply taking in Ludwig's scent. He missed him a lot. Feli laid down and held the pillow to his chest. Tears collected at the corner of his eyes. He squeezed them shut; he wasn't going to cry, not tonight. Ludi would be back soon and he wasn't going to let him leave again. The tears began to fall.
For the fourteenth time Feli cried himself to sleep.
Feli felt a hot breath dance across his neck. He opened his eyes, the way only he does, and stared down at the arms wrapped around his waist. Somebody was in his bed with him and he didn't know who it was. Feli turned the best he could and came face to face with a sleeping German. Tears gathered once again in Feli's eyes. He raised his hands shakingly to touch Ludwig's face. He couldn't believe he was here, that he was back. Feli ran his fingers over Ludwig's face, making sure this wasn't a dream.
"Ludi?" It was barely a whisper but it woke the German none the less. His blue eyes opened and he stared into Feli's tear stroked face.
"I'm sorry Feli. I can into check on you und I must have fallen asleep vith you." Ludwig's voice was like music to the small Italian's ears. Feli wrapped his arms around Ludwig's neck and hid his face.
"Oh Ludi! I missed you so much!" Feli cried but it wasn't from sadness or loneliness this time. He was just that happy. "Did you miss me too Ludi?" Ludwig laughed lightly.
"Ja, I missed you too." Feli smiled, he couldn't stop himself from smiling. He had his Ludwig back and that's all he wanted. Feli looked up at Ludwig his eyes full of hope.
"Do you love me Ludi?" Ludiwig looked down at Feli offering him a smile.
"Of course I do Italia." That morning they shared the sweetest kiss and that morning Feli made sure to keep Ludwig extra close.
