Doralee's POV

Judy and I were typing away at the newest report. Then I got the phone call.

"Hello Consolidated Inc. How can I help you?"

"Is there a Doralee Rhodes here?"

"Yes. Speaking."

"Ms. Rhodes I have some disturbing news. Your husband Dywane was in a car crash here in Austin, TX and we don't know if he'll make it or not." I just broke down from there.

"What! No way. He was going down there for a few days!" I said out of disbelief. And then I startd crying.

"We're very sorry. But we thinks its best if you come down here."

"Okay."

"Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

Judy's POV

I was typing on the typewriter and Doralee started crying. Then she hung up her phone. "Doralee? What's wrong?"

"Dwanye. Car crash. In hospital. Austin, Texas."

"Oh God." Were the only words to come out of my mouth. Then I held Doralee. "Come on let's get you cleaned up." I said seeing her mascara went into the bathroom where we saw Violet.

"What's wrong?" Violet asked. I mouth the words 'Tell you later'

"This feels just like High School." Doralee said.

"It'll be alright." Violet said rubbing her back soothingly.

"I'm gonna go down and see him." Doralee said.

"You gonna drive?" I said.

"How else? I can't afford a plane ticket."

"Long drive from Jersey to Texas. You going with anyone?"

"Yah my sister Sarah."

"We'll meet you down there this weekend." Violet said.

"Okay. I'm gonna head down and get ready."

"Kay we'll meet you down Sunday."

"Bye."

"Bye." Then Doralee left the bathroom.

"Can you please fill me in on why she was crying?"

"Vi, Doralee's husband was in a car crash and in the hospital."

"What?!"

"Yep. But now I have a problem."

"What's that?"

"I don't have a car."

"You can ride with me."

"Thanks Vi."

"All good Judy."

"Come on let's get back."
