Damon Salvatore, his wife Elena Salvatore and their daughter Bonnie Salvatore are just a normal family living in Mystic Falls.
It is the morning of 31st October, Halloween.
Damon awakens, turns to the other side of his bed and stares into Elena's eyes as she snores like a man and has the breath of an ogre. Elena wakes up.
Damon: Elena, Bonnie says she doesn't want to go out for Halloween to get candy if we don't get dressed up with her.
Elena rolls her eyes and in her stinky breath she says to Damon,
"She can't be serious. What are we supposed to dress up as? Like Vampires or something?" She sarcastically chuckles.
Damon: Actually that's not a bad idea. Bonnie says she wants to dress up as a witch so we can be vampires.
Elena unwillingly agrees to the idea to keep her daughter, Bonnie, happy.
Elena, Damon and Bonnie go shopping together for their Halloween costumes.
Bonnie: Hey Mom, Look! Red hair.
Damon: Red hair extensions? Mom is gonna be one badass vampire.
Elena says to Damon, "Look the bourbon is on sale". Damon grins.
After their shopping trip, Damon says to Elena,
"Imagine if, in some other life, we are actually vampires. Like maybe I own a bar and I'm some kind of vampire alcoholic and your a vampire nurse...haha imagine that."
