Eliot and Hardison sprinted into Nate's condo.
Eliot slammed and locked the door, before standing against it.
Hardison had his hands on his knees as he panted, laboring for breath.
"What's going on?!" Sophie rushes into the living room.
"They're...coming...they're com...ing!" The hacker panted.
"Who's coming?" Sophie asked, worriedly.
"The zombies!" Eliot had to force his own breathing steady. "They're coming!"
Sophie shook her head and chuckled. "What? Zombies? You've must be kidding me!"
"Where's Nate and Parker?" Eliot practically shouted.
"Parker isn't here! Nate's upstairs-" Eliot started walking up the stairs leading to the Masterminds room.
"Hardison use the couch and block the door!" Hardison nodded and started pushing the couch in front of the door.
"Wait! Where are you going!?" Sophie turned and started following Eliot up the stairs.
"I'm gonna warn Nate!" Eliot responded as he continued to climb the stairs.
"Why!? There aren't any zombies!" Sophie gestured towards the door.
"There is Zombies! Listen, Soph!" Eliot finally finished climbing the stairs.
"I didn't believe it either before I saw them! Okay! And I hope you're not gonna be as stubborn as me and wait until you're nearly killed by one to finally realize that they do exist!"
Sophie still looked doubtful but stopped protesting. Eliot turned towards the Masterminds door.
"Nate! You need to come out, now!! There's Zombies threatening to attack Portland we need to move!" Eliot shared a look with Sophie
His gut was turning in on itself.
"Nate. Nate!" No answer. "I thought you said he was here!"
Sophie's eyes widened. "He was!" Eliot wasted no time.
"Nate!" He shouted as he kicked the door down.
The room was a mess. Sophie and Eliot searched desperately for Nate.
"Nate?" Eliots gut kept turning and it almost made it hard for him to breathe.
Blankets were thrown around and the floor was covered in liquor bottles.
What happened? Eliot's thoughts were interrupted when they heard several frantic knocks and shouts at the front door.
They raced downstairs, eager to see what was happening.
