Link writes a poem about Dark Link, as he takes a bad situation and makes it verse.
(Profound apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson, upon whose poem of the same name this work is based.)

I have a little shadow, and a frightful pest is he,
And to find out what he's good for will be the death of me.
He haunts me in my dreaming, at night when I'm in bed.
He tries, when we do battle, to chop off my poor head.
By forest road or byway, he sits and lies in wait.
He'll drain me of my life force, and leave me in a state.
I need a healing potion, to make up for the loss.
As adversaries go, he thinks that he's the boss.
He gloats at all my failings, my weaknesses he'll mock,
When the Triforce I am seeking, his job: my quest to block.
He leapt out in an ambush, as I walked through Hyrule town.
And one day at Fairy Fountain – 'twas me he tried to drown.
The fans they all adore him; the girls, he drives them wild.
But he'll vex me and perplex me, 'till up I'm truly riled.
If again he will attack me, fight back I truly shall.
But he'll yell, as I am leaving, "See you in the sequel, pal!"
