All Hallow's Eve.
Lily sighed as she looked out the castle window. Today was Halloween, the anniversary of when her life changed forever. The day her birth parents were murdered. She was avoiding the feast in the Great Hall, the atmosphere was too much.
Do they even realize that two people died on this day, sixteen years ago, to save their bloody LIVES!? Lily growls in her head.
She is so immersed in her thoughts that she doesn't hear someone approaching her. She is startled out of her thoughts when she hears the voice of her beloved call her name in concern.
Lily turns around to see her beloved staring at her in worry.
Her beloved doesn't say a word , just watches Lily. Lily takes a shuddering breath. Her beloved opens their arns and says but one word, Lily, which undoes Lily, who flings herself at her beloved crying.
"Shhhhh, tesuro mia, I'm sorry they are all so insensitive, cara mia. " Her beloved murmurs. Lily shakes her head in her beloved's chest, mumbling; " Not your fault. "
Her beloved chuckles, rubbing Lily's back and caressing her hair. "I know, that doesn't mean I can't be sorry about how they all act. Come on, let's go up to the Astronomy Tower and have a candlelight ritual for your parents, hmm? We can visit them during Yule break. Tell them how your year has been. Not to mention tell them the good news. "
Lily lifts her head to see Blaise's smiling, and loving face, and can't help but to smile at her words. "I can't believe it took Dad a whole day to think about it! Papa looked ready to put Dad in the doghouse, literally. "
They both laugh and start walking to the Grand Staircase, when Lily stops Blaise and turns her around, giving her a small kiss full of all her love. "I love you, Blaise. Thank you for loving me, and cheering me up. "
Blaise smiles and retuns the sweet kiss and says; "Ti Amo, tesuro mia. You never have to thank me for loving you, as you loving me back is all the thanks I need. "
They share one last kiss as they make their way to the Astronomy Tower.
Way up above, where no one can see, a couple smiles as they watch the two girls. The man with messy black hair and hazel eyes. The woman with auburn hair and eyes that shone like Emeralds.
"Our baby is growing up." The woman says, tears gathering in her eyes. The man hugs her and nods, saying; "I know, Lily-flower, I know. That Blaise girl is definitely one of the best things to happen to her. " Lily nods and whispers; "Let's watch over our baby and her beloved, hmm?" The both smile and fade away.
