"Get back, you demon!" the man shouted at Naruto. He was he local baker, and Naruto was drooling in front of his shop, lusting after the confectioneries.
"Sorry, mister." Naruto apologised, and hurriedly left. He had just washed his clothes in preparation for his team announcement. He wanted to look good for his new sensei. he didn't want blood on it right now.
As he jumped the roof tops to reach his home quickly, he thought about the activities that led to him becoming a genin. Although he knew Iruka's true feelings, a part of him just wondered if maybe, just maybe Iruka feared him. After all, he had he greatest and most powerful bijuu sealed into him. He couldn't get scarier than that.
Part of him wondered what everyone would do if he just went on a killing spree, just like that. They couldn't stop him, he was powerful. He had the greatest bijuu in him. He could have power, have everything. No one would dare, no one would have the courage to challenge him. He would rule all.
Once he reached his apartment, he shook off his dark thoughts, waving them aside as wishful thinking. But, if only...
"Where the hell is the stupid teacher, anyways?" Sakura asked, pacing. She was really annoyed. They had been waiting for over three hours, everyone had gone, but their sensei had still not come. Sasuke was cleaning his kunai and Naruto was writing in his book.
All of a sudden, a different chakra filled the room and a voice spoke up.
"Looking for me?" the voice asked.
Sakura turned and glared at the man. She didn't yell at him because he was still her new sensei, Sasuke just didn't care and Naruto was scribbling in his book.
"Yo Blondie!" The man called to him. Naruto lifted his head up. "What are you writing there?"
Naruto blushed and closed his note. "Just a poem."
The man was curious. "What type of poem is it?" he asked.
"Probably a 'Roses are red' poem." Sakura sneered.
"Probably a silly poem about ramen, more like." Sasuke spoke up.
Naruto bent his head. "Yeah. Just a silly poem."
The man shook his head at the kids and told them to go on up, to the roof. As Naruto was leaving, he tore out the paper, crumpled it and threw it away in the waste basket by the door.
Since the man was still curious, he picked up the paper and opened it up. What he read next chilled his blood.
The sun I will own, I will command it to shine
The moon, stars and the whole world will all be mine
I will strike, owning humans whose blood I will use to make pools
I will rule, feasting on the screams of all useless fools
The sounds of their suffering will be like music, so sweet and pure
Their tears and cries will bring me so much pleasure
I will rule the people who once chained me since I was different
They will suffer forever, starting from now; the present.
The man paled considerably, wondering if he should show the poem to The Third. What if the seal was weakening? By the indication given by the poem, Naruto's mind was already corrupted by the Kyuubi. No normal boy could have done this.
Dismissing the idea, the man put the paper in his pocket for future reference. He would show the Sandaime if something more threatening than a poem arose.
But he forgot all about it. He forgot the fact that Naruto wasn't a normal boy. Maybe, if only, just if only...
