Percy's P.O.V
"Hey, Annabeth, I was wondering what you had going on at 7 pm tonight?", I asked. "Oh… all I was doing is packing for my trip back to San Francisco." "Ok, then I'll see you tonight at 7 pm!", I said excitedly. "Why, what's tonight?" Annabeth asked. "Our first date, see you later." I saw the look on Annabeth's face, I could see her blushing from a mile away. I walked back to my cabin and was scrambling around. Before I knew it, my room was a mess with clothes all over the floor. I looked at my watch and I noticed that it was already 6:45. So I headed out to the lake. I saw Annabeth sitting at the table I set out earlier today. Right when I saw her I was shocked, she was sitting there and she was gorgeous. She was wearing a purple summer dress. All I could get out was…"Wow… you look amazing.!" "Thanks", she replied shyly. At the table there was glasses full of Pepsi, Grapes on silver platters, and the first course was veggie omelets, the dessert was a lemon and raspberry cheesecake. We started talking about why Annabeth was going back to her dad in San Francisco, Annabeth told me that she was going back because her dad was getting married to a nice woman named Emma. We talked more about how long she was staying and she told me two weeks. After we ate, we talked a little more and I told her I was really looking forward to see her again on July 27. Annabeth asked me again what was going on at that date. I responded by telling her, "It's going to be our second date."
