"Hey Rae! I'm home!" Garfield said as he entered the apartment that he shared with his beautiful girlfriend. Throwing his keys onto the counter he got a glass of water and chugged it down. It had been a long day of flipping burgers. Gar leapt down the hallway in a few short strides and swung open his bedroom door. The sight in front of him almost made me cry.

The two slumbered, the blankets half off their naked forms. Her pink hair spread across his pillow mixing with the cold blue as they cuddled close. Gar shut his eyes, no longer able to take the sight.

"How long has this been going on?" He asked, as if expecting the two sleeping figures to answer him. When they didn't, he grew angry. But really, who could blame him. "How long has this been going on?" This time it came out as a roar and he could hear the two of them jump at the sound of his voice.

"Gar!" Raven exclaimed, her eyes growing wide. She had apparently not meant to fall asleep.

"Yes. It's me. You're loving boyfriend. Did you forget?" Raven cringed at his tone, but she knew that this couldn't have lasted forever.

"No. I didn't forget…" She trailed off, her voice growing weak. She seriously hadn't wanted him to find out this.

"What is this Raven?" His voice lost its edge and he slumped to the floor, defeated. "I thought you loved me…"

"I do love you!" Her words fell on deaf ears, hollow and meaningless. What had he done wrong?
