Of course she had spent the night away with him, all that time away had caused an ache between them; prompting them both for much overdo time together. They laid tangled within one another, limbs crossed and mingled as she partly laid upon his slumbering chest. She had missed this, missed the warmth and comfort he offered. Upon turning her head upwards, she was greeted with the peaceful sight of his sleeping face. Rose-colored lips could not help but lace into a smile at the sight, her head tilting as she continued to watch. It was true that things were not easy for them, that on one or more occasion she had snapped at him…Yet it was moments like this that made it worth it. That this peace and comfort between them now was worth it all, that the way her heart fluttered in her chest was worth everything. He was worth everything to her, Tauriel would do anything to see a smile on his face. How could she not? Legolas had stolen her heart many years ago, most likely when they were still bickering children. Affectionately her lips would press against his chest, flicking her eyes upward to see if he had woken yet. With no luck, she scooted herself up and pressed another kiss to his collar bone. It seemed he was not waking yet, prompting her to move her lips to his neck to leave a few lingering kisses. Soon her lips found his jawline, nipping slightly to stir him from slumber. A rumble within his chest alerted her to the fact that he was slowly waking. With a smile, the copper headed captain pushed herself onto her elbows to hover above him. "Dearest turtleleaf" She mused, pressing her lips firmly against his. His chest trembled under her as he laughed into the kiss, arms wrapping around her as he flipped them over. Pulling from her lips, a smile appeared. "Yes my little fox?"
