Minstral: Are you all this stupid? Well, for this story I have Riki helping me.
Riki: Hello, I am Minstral's muse for horror, tragedy and drama, and I believe this is horror and drama, Minstral?
Minstral: Yup-yup, this is written in Caim's POV and his feelings as he holds his sister's corpse in his arms.
Riki: Ah, yes and for all of you who are not too bright, Minstral does not own Drakengard, though she does wish she owns Manna. She thinks she's cute...God help us all. She thinks Manna is cute...
Minstral (pouting): Well she is, psychotic but cute. (looks to reviewers) Right!
I held my dead sister in my arms, her blood leaking on to my never washed amour. I had never told her how much I cared, and I never knew how much she cared for me.
"Save me, brother! Save me! Help me, brother! Help me! I love you, brother!" Manna, her words cut into me. I never knew Furie cared. But her last words stung me.
"Don't look at me!" I looked bleakly out at the horizon. I had failed my sister and Angelus. Angelus, my pact-partner. A dragon. I despised dragons, they had killed my parents and Angelus hated humans, we both hated the Empire. I had given up my voice to become strong to fill my need for revenge. I realized what I did was selfish, I had given up the crown to become a soldier to satisfy my need for the Empire's blood. I had let them all down, Leonard, Seere, Arioch, and Vervelet, and Inuart. Only Vervelet and I survived. Leonard had scarified himself to led Seere and myself to get to the Queen Beast. He had let himself die to save others, he, too, made a pact with a fairy we all wanted to kill at one time or another.
"Go I'll distract them!" Leonard's last words.
Arioch, the elf who had given up her womb to become powerful. She enjoyed in killing younger ones. So it was often up to me to protect Seere even though it often meant I had to hold him, sharing sleeping quarters and stay up many nights. I still don't know why Vervelet let her join, maybe it was because of her pact with Undine and Salamander or maybe because she was in prison and I had saved her. Her death was gruesome, she had let the Rock Babies eat her.
"Come to me my children!"
"Their eating Arioch!" Seere, young innocent Seere. He had given up his time to become a past-partner with a Golem. He was Manna's twin brother. He had spent his life trying to make up to Manna, who was neglected by her own mother. Seere became the Little Hero and remained in eternity to save everyone from the Queen Beast.
"Do you forgive me now, Manna?" Manna, the girl who was the priestess of the Watchers, and the one who drove Furie to her suicide. I hated Manna and refused her death even when she begged, but finally Seere gave her death she wanted so much.
"With love that crushes like a mace."
Inuart, my best friend who had made a pact with a black Empire dragon. Furie had killed him and I was satisfied, he had taken my sister away from me, so he deserved his fate. Then there was Angelus.
Angelus….
Angelus had given up her body to become the next Goddess of the Seal. I held her in my arms, holding her bleeding head in my lap, scratching her below the ears as she chose her fate. Vervelet had said the words and her last words…they haunt me to no end.
"I have never seen…you weep…before. There is…but one thing… I wish…for you to remember. Angelus. My name…is Angelus. You…are the first…and last…of your kind…to know my name. Farewell…fool human" It was the first time I cried. Tears ran freely down my face. I looked into the sky…and watched as Furie's sister's began their song of destruction…
Minstral: End, such a sad game…but so good. All quotes are from the game and I don't own those either.
Riki: She thinks Manna's cute...
Minstral: Are you still complexing over that?
Farewell, fool humansMinstral and Riki
