"End it, Sakura…."
Sakura's eyes widened, her grip on the kunai she held to his neck tightened.
Looking down into his eyes, she saw nothing.
The hate, lust for revenge, for blood…was gone.
They were empty, and it tore her apart from the inside, made her gut wrench, and her heart ache.
His voice no longer held the malicious tone, nor did it drip with venom.
She felt as if she was looking into an empty shell of the man she loved.
This wasn't Sasuke.
The one all those years ago, who had left her on the cold bench, that was Sasuke.
But this man, this monster, this wasn't Sasuke.
The one she'd loved had left, and never come back.
Sakura closed her eyes, and her jaw clenched. All these emotions, they were overwhelming, a wave of pain washed over her, only when she felt Sasuke's cool touch on her cheek was she knocked out of her revere.
She realized she had begun to cry, sasuke's thumb brushing away her tears, only smearing her face with blood and dirt.
"Do it, Sakura." His voice was weak, but when he gripped her hand on the kunai, it was surprisingly strong.
"No," Sakura whispered, making a move the pull the kunai away from his pale skin.
He resisted, holding her hand in place.
She let out a gasp, and looked into his eyes, jade met black.
"End it." He whispered, a small smirk danced on his lips.
"Sasuke-kun,"
And with one swipe, it was over.
