The bell resounded throughout the hallway signaling the students that it's time for lunch. Some hurried through the door to meet up with their friends or to buy their favorite food before it ran out. As for myself, I'm about to stand up to spend time alone peacefully until a certain fire queen approched my table—
"Hikio, let's eat lunch together!"
"No" I said, flatly.
"Wha—Did you already forget, Hikio?!"
"What do you mean—" Oh, realization dawned over me, we started dating yesterday. I thought it was a dream of my crazy mind.
"My bad, my bad"
Yumiko just gave me an annoyed 'hmph' and started to march towards the door as she ignored my apologies.
