Me: Hihi! This idea for a oneshot just popped into my head, so enjoy and review!

"Mama, how did you and papi meet?" 4 year old Starly Pedrosa asked her mother as she pulled on her pajamas. Kimiko Pedrosa smiled at her daughter, as this was her favorite story to fall asleep to.

"Let me tuck you in first, then I'll tell you the story." Kimiko said, then noticed Raimundo standing in the doorway.

"Papi!" Starly squealed then jumped into her father's waiting arms. Rai grinned then kissed the top of her head.

"How's my lovely little flower? Meu Deus, your getting big. Soon, you're gonna have to come train at the temple with me." he said before setting her down on her bed. He kissed Kimiko, his heart pounding even after 10 years of marriage to her.

"Guess who's here." he said playfully before Toishiro Tohomiko walked into the room, holding a big teddy bear.

"Grandpa! Is that for me?" Starly asked excitedly.

"Only the best for my favorite granddaughter." Toishiro smiled as Starly jumped out of bed and hugged her teddy bear tightly.

"Thank you grandfather!" Starly said as she climbed back into bed.

"Do you want to hear the story or not?" Kimiko chided Starly.

"Yes."

"Good. Well then-" Kimiko started but was interrupted by Rai.

"Let me tell it bella." he said, then started.

"Once upon a time, there were four kids that went to China to start their training as Xiaolin Dragons. There was a tall blond boy, a short bald boy, a pretty black-haired girl, and a very handsome brown-haired boy. The brown-haired boy really liked the girl, so the only way he thought he could get her attention was to annoy her every waking moment." Rai smiled as he saw Kimiko grimace at the memories.

"Anyway, eventually he realized that wasn't the right way to get her attention, but didn't realize that the girl had liked him all along." Rai concluded, then noticed that Starly had fallen asleep, her black hair spread across the pillow. Kimiko, Rai, and Toishiro each kissed her good night and went to the living room. As soon as they sat down, Toishiro turned to them.

"You know, that isn't really when you two first met." he said.

"What are you talking about daddy?" Kimiko asked.

"You two first met in Brazil, when I was at a conference there. I had to bring you, Kimi-chan, because there was no one you wanted to stay with."

"Really? Tell us." Kimiko said, eyes bright with eagerness.

"I think it's time of a fairytale of your own." Toishiro smiled.

"Once upon a time, there was a very impatient little girl who really wanted to buy toys. So she dragged her father to the toy store, where she found a mechanical puppy that she really liked, and wanted. But just as she was about to grab it, a little boy sneaked up and grabbed it before her. He ran off laughing, while the little girl was left crying. The little boy felt so bad for her that he ran up to her and thrust the toy into her hands and ran off. But before he left, he called out, 'take good care of it', while the little girl was left hugging the toy gratefully." he finished before examining their faces.

"I remember that! I was...seven, I think. That would make Kimiko five years old then." Rai said, grinning as the memory came back to him. He turned to see what Kimiko said, then realized she had fallen asleep.

"Like mother, like daughter." Toishiro said, a twinkle in his eye.
