I want to thank my friend Lady Canu for being my beta. She is awesome.

Rush

She was pissed.

As she walked the halls of McKingley High she felt the entire school body watching her every move, and even if no one was paying her attention she heard whispers calling her names she called herself inside her head. She saw people pointing at her, laughing as she passed by, but it was probably only in Tina's imagination.

She was humilliated.

Her entire perfomance, in the sweaty, disgusting boy's locker room had been a complete joke; her song choice, and her dedication. She was one of the best singers that the club had! No, she was the best. Period.

Tina took a deep breath, her phone going off inside her pocket. She closed her eyes and tried to calm down but all she could see where her friends' stern looks as her eyes were glued to Blaine's face.

"No" he had said. "Thank you, but no thank you" and all she wanted to do at that same second was scream until her vocal chords bled and her eyes were puffy from tears she didn't know she was crying.

Both her hands were closed into fists of pure rage as her phone vibrated again. She took it, her temper increasing once she saw who was calling.

Since sophomore year she had cared about Kurt Hummel. They had rehearsed, sang and danced around the choir room, around her house and his basement. They had been best friends until their classes stopped coinciding and she saw Kurt hanging around Mercedes and Rachel more than her.

Tina had always adored Kurt, since the very first time they coily talked down about fashion and musicals, and claimed themselves the best dancers until Brittany and Mike started Glee Club too.

Tina loved Kurt but, once again, she was pissed and she didn't hesitate as she pressed 'accept' on the call.

"You're an idiot" was the first thing she said, "You. Are. An. Idiot." Tina spit the words with venom, "because of you Blaine doesn't want to go to the ball with me, he doesn't even want to think about going because he is still hanging onto you. You don't even like him anymore, do you? Why don't you j-"

"You're a bitch." She heard on the other line and was cut off before being able to reply "And you don't have a say in this conversation. I called you because you're the worst friend someone can have. You went out of the blue, proposing in front of the entire council to have a Sadie freaking Hawkins dance without talking to Blaine first, without warning him!".

"Even if he is the pressident I can o-" she tried, but Kurt's high-speed speech was faster.

"It doesn't have anything to do with you exposing an idea, Tina! Nor with the fact that you have a crush on a guy who likes males! It has to do with the fact that it's Sadie Hawkins and Blaine!"

"I don't g-"

"Remember our Junior Prom?" Kurt's voice was softer but she could sense the hidden anger in his tone "remember I told everybody to be around because I wanted him to feel safe? Now try and think why"

She expected him to give her the answer a few seconds after the silence invaded the call, she even hoped for the dial tone before her brain started working. He is just jelous, a little voice said, and it sounded a lot like Rachel Berry.

Tina tried to remember, even if she didn't think about it being useful because Blaine wasn't going to go anyway, not without Kurt, not without the only person who he felt safe after what happened in his old school at a Sadie Hawkins dance, even if h-.

"Oh, shit" was the last thing Kurt heard before the dial tone.

Tina Cohen-Chang was pissed because she was a mayor idiot.

She rushed out of the room - the sound of her heels clattering against the tiles- she needed to find Blaine, she needed to see if he was okay.

And swallowing her pride she admitted to herself that she needed to say sorry.
