Disclaimer: Don't own Gundam 00. And this is just a test really. I wanted to see if I could do Tieria at all. I may make this into a drabble of Lockon/Tieria stuff. I don't really care for this chapter, but oh well.

Tieria Erde closed his eyes and tried to think. He'd almost completely relaxed, except for a slight bit of remaining nervousness. Until just now, he couldn't get his heart to stop pounding, or his hands to stop shaking. His stomach finally settled.

For his entire life, he'd looked at things logically. That was how he was created to look at things. His purpose in life was, not only to fight for Celestial Being, but to lead humanity to the future. How could he do that when he felt so weak?

He always looked for the logical side of things, but there was something right beside him that wasn't logical at all. It was called Lockon Stratos.

Lockon was smart, though he acted like a fool sometimes. He was kind, compassionate. He always tried to cheer everyone up. Even though so many bad things had happened to him, he still smiled everyday. No matter how cruel Tieria was to him, he still was kind to him. He was always kind to him.

It confused Tieria. How could anyone just flat out ignore being treated poorly? How could anyone simply smile and try to convince him he was like the others? It wasn't logical at all.

And more than that, it confused him how he made his heart have wings. It felt like his heart could soar out of his chest.

And how his made him afraid in a way no one else had. Afraid to fail, just like he was with Veda. Afraid to speak wrong. Afraid to look him in the eyes. Afraid to let him know about all this. Why be afraid of a human? It was illogical. Completely illogical.

At night, he dreamed of him. Even then, he couldn't give him peace! That should annoy him, but it made him happy. He couldn't understand why it didn't bother him. Why he liked seeing him in his sleep.

And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't figure it out. He even looked up what he was feeling in Veda, and there was nothing.

He explained his symptoms to Dr. Moreno, but he said he was perfectly healthy.

Feeling confused, he wondered if Sumeragi had the answers. Reluctantly, he knocked on her bedroom door. She opened the door almost instantly.

"Tieria?" She asked, surprised to see the Meister.

Instantly, Tieria decided that he was stupid for visiting the woman. He turned to leave.

"What was it?" She asked, grabbing his arm.

He sighed deeply. Might as well ask.

"Sumeragi," He began.

She was surprised not to hear her full name escape his lips. She didn't release his arm, knowing he would leave if she did.

"Lately, I've been feeling strange. I feel nervous alot. And I keep having the same dream." He explained.

Finally releasing his arm, she leaned against the doorway.

"What kind of dreams?" She asked.

"I keep..." His cheeks turned pink. "Waking up next to a certain person..." He admitted.

"A person you like?" She asked, trying to dispel the joking tone that almost came out.

He simply nodded, his cheeks turning more painted with blush.

"Sounds like you're in love." She said.

His jaw dropped and his face felt like it caught fire. He couldn't believe it. Love? Him? It wasn't possible! He didn't say anything, just turned to leave.

"Who is it?" She asked, letting the playful tone escape.

He walked away, looking angry.

"No one!" He yelled.

It was illogical. No, it was impossible. Actually, it felt oddly right. It felt normal. It felt human.

Maybe sometimes it was okay to be illogical.
