"Okay now no one tell the boys, if you do I'll shoot you in your sleep, understood?" Said Kate to the group, with the exception of Tommy and Billy (the boys) They were planning their surprise party.
"Okay I'll go collect the balloons and stuff" Said Kate scribbling something on a piece of paper. "'I'll make a cake" explained Cassie "Oh ill help" Said Eli; perhaps too excited. "Okay… so where are Tommy and Billy?" asked Nate "I sent them to new york, so they can bond, and keep them away for a while." Explained Teddy "Okay come on Avengers let's make a surprise party." As the words left Eli's mouth the room emptied.
"Hey it's me, I'm going to get the guys presents." Said Teddy, on his mobile to Cassie, who was mixing cake mix on the other end of the phone. "Okay call if you need anything." Gleamed Cassie licking the spoon before placing it in the sink. "Okay see you" he said flicking his phone placing it in his pocket.
Street to street Teddy wandered about what to buy Billy, Tommy's present was easy, a new pair of sneakers and a card. But Billy was more than a friend; he was his boyfriend, the one he shared everything with; Teddy's soul mate.
Crossing the street almost being ran over by multiple cabs he came to a jewellery store. He gazed into the window.
Half way back to the mansion his pocket began to vibrate. "Hi, Teddy its Cassie, erm… The mansion is under attack!" She said in a rather strange tone. "Yeah as if." He mocked, as he said it a clash of glass made him jump, he realised that it was coming from the phone. "It's really under attack?" he asked now getting rather panicked. "Yes now get home!"
"freaks!" Teddy heard chanting as he came up the drive, he noticed that easily thirty people were ramming into the door, breaking windows and throwing things at the mansion. "Hey stop that!" he yelled as three of the vandals ran at him with iron bars, he easily disarmed them and knocked them flying. This distracted the vandals for long enough for the Avengers to get out the Mansion and to begin kicking some ass out the vandals.
Eli and Teddy easily knocked them over and out. Cassie grew and began standing on them, about four at a time, Nate blasted them Kate shot at them with Arrows and also kicked their asses on the way.
Moments had passed and the fight was over. It was now night and the twins still hadn't gotten back from New York. "I'm so excited to see them eat the cake" said Cassie making last minute touches to the masterpiece she had created, with little help from Eli.
"Guys, they're almost here" said Nate running into the room. "Okay everybody hide" shouted Teddy, while switching the lights off. Moments later Billy and Tommy appeared in a blue flash of lights. "Surprise!" they all shouted, Billy's hands momentarily filled with sparks, they slowly faded when he realised it wasn't an intruder.
"Oh my god guys!" said Tommy running to the cake in the blink of an eye. Everyone had exchanged gifts and eaten cake. "Billy, come on, I need to give you your present." Whispered Teddy into Billy's ear, before leaving the room, closely followed by Billy.
Once outside in the night air teddy grabbed hold of Billy and grew wings, taking them high into the star filled, night sky. "Teddy, what's going on?" questioned Billy. "We have been together for a while now, and all that's been going on" started Teddy. "Teddy?" whispered Billy.
Teddy opened his hand and began to kneel on the platform Billy had created. Grabbing his hand he muttered the words that could change his life. "William Kaplan, Will you marry me?" Billy stood shocked, his eyes filled with tears...
"Yes, of course"
