A/N: I only own the OC.

You guys wanted a sequel... so here you go! I hope that you enjoy it!

I had been in town for 6 months and I was still adapting. Life in Ireland was very different from life in Los Angeles. The people were nicer here than they ever were in Los Angeles. I was slowly making friends, and figuring out my new life. I had made a few mistakes, and I didn't understand half the words they said or what they meant. I had started at a coffee shop/cafe as a manager. I had been a barista in college while I was working on my degrees so it wasn't like I hadn't done it before. I was still so nervous about slipping up and telling people about my past life.

"Morning, Ava." Mary said as she walked in. I waved as I was mid-sip from my coffee; it still seemed weird to answer to another name. I forgot a few times and played dumb when I forgot to answer to them. We were here a little earlier than normal this morning because we were going to decorate for the holiday's. We were going to put up a Christmas tree, garland, paint the windows, and do a few other decorations. Mary was the owner of the coffee shop and she felt like family by now. She invited me to everything her family did. I often felt like I was intruding, but they had all welcomed me with open arms.

She turned on music, and we started to put things up. I was working on garland and other decorations as she fought with the tree. We finally got the monstrosity of a tree up in the corner, and started to decorated it. We left so spaces and put out a small table with wooden ornaments. Mary wanted people to write something they were grateful for during the holidays. She was always getting the community involved, and that's why we had so many regulars. I had a lot to be thankful for right now since I had adapted so well.

"Morning ladies!" Fintin said as he walked in. He was an older man that was our regular, and his wife was so sweet. He was always here first, and he was so sweet. He owned a barber shop, that was only open when he felt like opening it. He would go on about his kids and his son Eoin came in one day. He wasn't bad looking, and he was always fun to talk to about things.

"Ava, what are you doing for the holidays?" he asked me and I shrugged.

"She will be with me if your family doesn't steal her." Mary said, and I chuckled as Fintin shook his head.

"Well, you are welcome. My son finally came back from the States." he said and he sounded happy about it. He always talked about his children and his grandchildren. He had the kind of family that I always wanted to have or be apart of one day.

"Really? When did he come back?" I asked him.

"He came back about 6 months ago. He's getting used to being back." he said and I nodded.

"Adapting can be hard." I admitted and he chuckled.

"He's not too bad off. He is already back with his old girlfriend, and they seem serious. He has changed a lot and is more guarded, but that's Fergal for you." he said and I felt my breath hitch. Fergal... I remembered that name. I shook my head to clear thoughts from coming on. I didn't want to revert into that black hole or emotions. I had drug myself out of it many times.

"Morning!" a voice said and I looked up to see Eoin coming into the shop. He smiled at me and sat down next to where I was standing. Mary and Fintin were talking about something when Eoin nudged me.

"Would you like to get dinner tonight?" he asked me and I looked at him surprised. I hadn't been expecting him to ask me out.

"Like a date?" I said before I thought about it, and I was wishing that was the one thing I could have left in my past... still as awkward as it came. He chuckled and nodded.

"If you want it to be one." he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Pick her up at 7." Mary said and I chuckled as I turned bright red. Eoin chuckled and I smirked.

"7 is good." I confirmed and he chuckled. He grabbed a cup of coffee, and left. Fintin was joking with me about it before we got busy. I was glad when Peyton came in to work. She had literally become my best friend that was closer to my age. She was so happy for me when she found out that I was going out with Eoin tonight.

Fergal POV

I got off early today and went to see Mum and Dad. Eoin was home and Dad was talking to him.

"Fergal, your brother finally grew up and asked the coffee shop manager out." Dad said and I nudged Eoin when I walked past him.

"Congrats on growing a pair. What's her name?" I asked him.

"Ava, and she is amazing." he said and I nodded. He seemed happy, but she was a manager of a coffee shop... he was a banker.

"She is a coffee shop manager?" I asked him and he nodded as he gave me a side look.

"I mean if that's what you like." I said and Dad slapped me.

"At least this girl has a job and not like your girlfriend." he said and to me as I rolled my eyes. I had gotten back with my old girlfriend, Charlotte. She was a wrestler, and it was a comfort zone being back with someone familiar. I liked her, but I still thought of Hayley from time to time. I knew that she was probably the one I was supposed to be with, but unless the fates lined up just right... it wouldn't happen.

"Just have fun tonight." I said pulling myself out of an emotion roller coaster that I didn't want to go through right now. He flipped me off before he left to go back from his lunch time.

"Why are you home?" Dad asked me and I sighed.

"I hit a suspect so they sent me home early." I said and he shook his head.

"Whatever happened in Los Angeles... you have got to move on, son." he said and I nodded. I knew that he was right, but it was easier said than done.
