Prologue:
The warmth of fire has been quickly replaced with coldness of nonentity. He took a deep breath. His lungs has been filled with... what was it?
Something like fresh air. The oxygen. But it couldn't be this. It just didn't feel like that, anymore.
His senses were dull. He could smell neither burned castle, nor the grass, that surrounded castle grounds. Nor himself.
He didn't feel any pain. He felt nothing, he heard nothing. He was surrounded by nothingness.
And he could not accept it. It couldn't be truth, right? It's just a dream. Like if he wanted to prove his point, he opened his amber eyes, only to see purple ones staring at him. And nothing more. Just blackness.
He blinked a few times. "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" he asked and sat up on the not-existing floor. Now, his eyes have just started adjusting to the darkness. He could see a figure crouching next to him.
Pointy ears, parted deep purple bangs and shoulder length hair tied in a high ponytail. Shining purple eyes and snow-white skin. And that stupid wide smile plastered on his face.
He's just thought he had got rid of that dragon for good, but noooo. Something just HAD to go wrong!
"Well..." started dragon. "You're right. And I'd never think I'd see you so early." he said. "And you know what, Touga? I've already missed you!" he stated and grinned.
Touga ignored last statement. "Then... Why are you alive and where the hell am I? What have you done to me!?" he gripped dragon's collar. "Hey, calm dawn!" said dragon and put his hands infront of his face in defensive gesture.
Touga huffed and let go. "I haven't done anything to you. So don't blame me! Actally, I'm kind of dead, so I don't know what happened to you. And I'm not sure where we are, but I think it's-"
"What!?" Touga cut him off. "Ryuukotsusei, what do you mean you're dead?! Then, that means, that I-I'm..." he looked at his white and blue haori. There was no blood on it, while it was there last time, when he fought to save Izayoi.
Ryuukotsusei smirked. "Welcome to hell."
Touga shook his head. He won't accept it! He must liiive. "I need to find a way out." he stood up abruptly, making Ryuu loose his balance. He looked around, but saw nothing. "But how?"
Slowly, Ryuukotsusei got up and pointed at dark gate. It was alomost invisible. "Doooor." he muttered. "...And what's up there?" asked inu-youkai. Ryuukotsusei shrigged his shoulders. "Dunno?"
'So he didn't go there...' he thought. "Coward."
Touga started walking towards black gate, closely followed by Ryuukotsusei. Soon, he put his hands on cold handles. Ryuukotsusei looked over his shoulder.
"You sure you wanna go there?" he asked.
"Of course I do. After all, nothing worse can happen, right? We're dead already." he stated nervously.
After a minute, which seemed like a few hours, Touga turned to his companion. "You! Go first!"
Ryuu shook his head. "Iie. And don't order me around. It's been your idea in the first place." he stated. Touga sighed, then took a deep breath and pushed heavy doors.
Both demons closed their eyes. A very bright crimson light filled the area behind the gate, yet no light dared to leave its safe spot and enlighten the darkness of nothingness.
Ryuukotsusei glanced at Touga, who nodded his head and both demons stepped into the light.
"They couldn't see for a few seconds, but when their eyes adjusted to the new atmosphere, all they could say was "What the fuck!?"
Hope you liked it :) And sorry for my terrible english. If you see any mistakes, let me know. Also, tell me what you think of it. Should I continue? Anyway, review X) And gomen for shortness of prologue. But it's just the beginning and it will surely get better :D
