"As you can see X is the perfect weapon, and he can be all yours at the right price." Stryker smiled as he looked at the crouched figure from behind the observation room's glass window.
Tony looked at the destroyed robots, lasers, guns, flamethrowers, and finally the man responsible for the destruction. What did they do to this man to make him into such a monster? His mind whirled. He had to shut this place down this man this "Weapon X" deserves better heck anyone deserves better.
First he had to meet him though at least see him up close.
Tony put on his best poker face."Before we make a deal I was wondering if I could take a closer look".
Stryker looked at him then grinned "Certainly".
Stryker pressed a button and Weapon X suddenly stood at attention the collar on his neck started to blink green. His sharp eyes glazed and his muscles relaxed.
Stryker and Stark headed down with three guards walking slightly in front of them.
Hey reached the door and entered. The guards all had their weapons trained on the collared man.
Tony could now see the dried blood on the man, he examined him, not a scratch. He could also now see that the collar on the man neck was deeply embedded, his heart clenched in anger.
"As you can see X is a fine specimen, in fact if our program wasn't so low on cash I'd love to keep him, but alas I can't have it all" Stryker said.
Tony wanted to throttle this man, Stryker talked as if this poor man was just a weapon to be used and sold, but with so many around he never would be able to say anything about it, he clenched his teeth.
He needed to talk to him alone he turned to Stryker.
"I was wondering if I might be alone with the product before I make my decision" Stark said to the Colonel.
Stryker studied him "Certainly" he motioned for the guards to follow him and they left the room.
Tony waited until he knew they were gone.
"What have they done to you?" His voice too low for the recorders he knew "Weapon X" could hear him because Stryker went on for 20 minutes about "Weapon X's extraordinary senses".
"Weapon X what sort of name is that, must have taken that too, you must have had a name before" Stark looked into the man's blank eyes. "But you probably don't remember, look I don't know if you understand me, but I'll get you out ok, I'll shut down this whole program if I have too, you can count on it". He then turned around to leave.
Then he heard it.
"L-L-ogan m-y na-me is L-Logan" a gruff scratchy voice said it obviously hadn't been used in a long time.
Stark turned around and looked into the now named Logan's eyes they held a glimmer, he could also see the throbbing vein on Logan's temple as he struggled. His muscles then relaxed and his eyes went blank again.
Stark felt his anger arise again, "I promise Logan, and I'll save you" he then turned and left.
Well isn't this major AU on both sides oh well I thought it would be neat hope ya'll liked it. I know his name is James I just figured he would probably go by Logan, and plus Logan is much cooler than James LOL.
