A/N: Uh so I haven't actually had any sleep and I know I should be updating stories of importance but NOPE.
This is kinda silly and I don't actually know what I'm doing.
So imagine there's this travelling musician that sort of wanders around your busy city neighborhood a lot. And you see him all the time, but you never see him go home or enter any of the apartments or anything.
Sometimes he plays his cello for passerbys, but he never seems to make very much money, yet he always looks rather dapper. So one day you approach him.
You ask, "Do you need a place to stay or something?"
Politely, he replies, "No, I have my home right here," and pats the cello case on his back.
So again you ask something, this time "Where are you from?"
He says, "Far away from here." (At this point you notice he has a rather thick British accent which, if you're from the Americas, would be rather odd.)
You ask, "What do you do? Just play your cello like this?"
"Sometimes," he says. "Sometimes I travel. Sometimes I help people. But I always stay in the limelight."
"Is it fun?"
"Yes. Would you like to come with me?"
"Alone with you, with no food or money or shelter or means of transportation? For what could be months?" You look at him like he's crazy.
"I don't know about any of that. We could travel the universe and have you back in a jiffy."
"How so?"
Suddenly, he opens his cello case- it's bigger on the inside.
What if the Doctor and the Master aren't the only Time Lords?
What if a wandering musician has just stayed low, blessing people with his music rather than his travels?
And what if, just maybe, every so often he shows a companion the universe, just every so often? A kind stranger who shows the good in their heart and shows the virtue he's been looking for? What if he rewards them with everything?
