I have no clue where this will go, but we'll just have to find out. One-shot!
Snow:
Heavy feet dragged themselves through the mounds, the winds knocking down the struggling form. Snow covering them. Arms flailed as they tried drag themselves across the ice. Slowly the resisting form stopped. Dead stopped. Nothing was heard other than the howling winds as the snow covered the lifeless body, the soul was leaving, it was goneā¦
"Snow is gone!" A young blond haired teenager cried.
"What? She can't be gone, this is the time of the storm, anything out there will surely die!" An old man replied.
"No, I can't let her die!" The boy grabbed a coat and a snow stick.
"Sky, don't go!" The man called to the young boy, but he ran out into the storm, he couldn't let Snow die, not after all they'd been through.
Snow hit the young boy in the face, the ice walkers were out right now, so he hoped desperately that he wouldn't run into one of then. The snow was up to his waist, freezing hi entire being.
He searched and searched, and when he was just about to collapse in the snow with exhaustion, he hit something with his stick, beneath the snow was something squishy. He knelt down on his knees and tried desperately to move the snow of the form beneath the snow. That's when he saw her pale face, eyes closed, lips a dark blue.
"Snow." He whispered, he tried to see if she had a pulse, but through the mitten, he was unsure. He pulled out of the snow before collapsing, his arm around her, hoping that all his struggles weren't in vain. His vision was fading, becoming a dark black. The black edged at his sight when he saw a group of two walking through the snow. Maybe it was his tribe?
As they got closer, he realized that he didn't recognize them, they must be the ice walkers that he had been warned about. They were suppose to rip the life out of humans.
"Do not fear child, we only wish to help." The female told the young boy.
"Darla, are you sure this is the right thing to do?" The male asked.
"Yes, the girl's heartbeat is almost completely stopped, whatever we do we have to do it quickly."
"Are you going to kill me?" The boy asked, shaking from either the cold, or from fear.
"No, we shall give you life. Do you love this young girl?"
"Y-Yes." Sky replied.
"Do you with for us to save her?"
"I would be very grateful if you could!" The young boys eyes glowed at this escape from death.
"We shall help, but you must take off the coat first." The boy known as Sky looked down at his coat, he would surely freeze if he hadn't this on, would he not?
"A-a-alright." The shaking teenager unbuttoned and unzipped his huge snow jacket, letting it fall onto the snow. His legs were too frostbitten for him to stand.
The female leaned over. "Close your eyes, and everything will be alright." Sky did as she said, hoping that she told the truth, he laid there on the snow, freezing to death as the vampire bit into his neck. He couldn't feel a thing, too numbed with pain, just a slight pinch.
"See, I told you everything would be fine." Darla told the man known as Angelus who stood next to her, looking at their 'children.'
"Sky?" The beautiful blond haired, blue eyed, thirteen year old girl asked the fourteen year old boy who laid next to her.
"S-Snow?" He asked, sitting up. "Snow! You're alright!" He swung his arms around her neck, she laughed and returned the hug. Sky stood up.
"Thank you." He dipped his head to the strangers.
"Come now, there are many things that we must teach you." Dalra told the children. They held hands as they followed their sires to learn just how Ice walkers lives could be.
So what did you think of my random one shot? I might continue it someday if anyone wants me too, but it seems like it should be a one-shot.
