Three teenaged boys gaped at the wall.

"It's pink," James said.

"Pepto-Bismol pink," Logan said.

The three boys shifted their gaze from the wall to a fourth teenage boy, who had a silly grin on his face as he admired his painting job.

"It's Benjamin Moore's 'Cat's Meow' and it's only on one wall."

Carlos walked over to the left side of the room and gestured toward an unpainted wall. "Over here I'm going to do something in coral."

Kendall shuddered.

"Carlos, you must stop watching 'Color Splash Miami.'"

Carlos pouted.

"I was only trying to help. I got a lot of ideas watching David Bromstad decorate a Victorian home," he said.

"Take a look around, Carlos," Kendall said. "Does this look like a Victorian home to you?"

"No," Carlos said meekly.

"That's because it isn't. Our bachelor pad is located in the hottest condo complex in Hollywood. I don't want it looking like my Grammy lives here."

Logan put his arm around Carlos' shoulder.

"There, there, Little Carlitos," Logan said. "It really does look like my grandmother's dining room in Massachusetts. And she has a very lovely Victorian home."

James stood in the center of the room.

"I say we hang a giant disco mirror ball from the ceiling. Put strobe lights all over the place, and let the Hollywood Party Kings of Hollywood really establish some party cred!"

James flashed his one-hundred-watt smile.

"Is that a plan or what?" he asked.

Carlos and Logan gave James a high-five.

"Works for me," Logan said.

Kendall made gagging noises.

"Does it come with a barf bag?"

James glared at Kendall.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing," Kendall said. "Unless you want our bachelor pad to look like it's a reject from the year nineteen-seventy-eight."

"Well, at least we came up with ideas," Logan said.

"Funny," Kendall said. "I don't recall hearing your idea Logan."

"That's because I couldn't make up my mind," Logan stated emphatically.

Carlos smirked. "Big surprise. Logan couldn't make up his mind."

Logan looked daggers at Carlos.

"On the one hand, I would like a quite loft area where I could concentrate on my studies. Even with all of our success, I still want to be a doctor one day."

Kendall yawned.

"B-o-o-o-o-o-ring," he said.

"However, being a red-blooded American teenager, I can definitely understand the need for a sick party zone," Logan said.

Logan gave Carlos and James a high-five.

"And a giant disco mirror ball could be the center of a sick party zone," James said.

Kendall rolled his eyes.

"Guys, we've been given the chance of a lifetime," he said. "Gustavo gave us this bachelor pad because our first album went gold. Think about how hard we worked on that album. Don't you think our bachelor pad should reflect our maturity as professional musicians and not a bunch of silly kids?"

"Okay Hot-Shot," James said. "What's your great idea?"

"Yeah Mr. Professional Musician," Carlos and Logan chimed in.

A sly smile formed on Kendall's face.

"A state-of-the-art ice hockey rink."
