Hey there, this is my first english fanfic. I hope you'll like it! I'm german and living in Tunisia so please forgive my errors.
It's been 3 weeks now since the novelist Rick Castle walked out of the precinct with his ex-wife, and left a sad, broken hearted Detective Beckett standing on the floor.
It was already late but NYPD's homicide Det. Kate Beckett was sitting at her desk and doing paperwork, well, trying to do it. She was thinking about Rick Castle (again). The previous 3 weeks were very boring and depressing. She missed his childish attitude and his teasing. Actually she missed him…
"You look bad" Beckett took her look of her paperwork and saw with all surprise "writer boy" smiling at her. "It's because you've missed me" He said.
"Castle? What are you doing here?"
"I got lonely"
"I thought you're in the Hamptons with Gina…writing"
"Nope. I kicked her out, besides writing didn't go well"
"Hah…Why that? I thought she would inspire you"
"I forgot my inspiration here. She's not you Kate" She blushed. Castle saw that and smiled. God! She's beautiful, she thought.
"So…you're going to stay now in New York?" She asked hopefully.
"Yeah. I really need to finish that book, and I can't do it without my muse" He said.
"I thought I told you not to call me your muse" She said.
Oh yeah he remembered, she'd threatened to break his legs…
"Sorry…"
"Anyway… welcome back! It's been very boring around here without you" She said. She was very happy that he came back.
"I knew it! You missed me" He said, with a big grin on his face. "Well, I missed you too" More than you can imagine, he thought. She blushed again and smiled.
"So… I'm gonna go home now, unpacking bags and stuff. Are you still staying long?" He asked.
"No. I'll just finish this."
"Okay. Good night. And please don't stay so long" She nodded. So he walked the elevator.
"Hey you didn't tell me why you kicked Gina out" Castle turned around and said:
"It's a long story. I'll tell you tomorrow"
"Fine" She couldn't wait to hear THAT story.
"Until tomorrow, Richard Castle"
"Until tomorrow, Kate Beckett" he said smiling, the happiness shining in his eyes.
