one step two step
one shot
I don't particularly like twincest, but I like the twins and even though I like Hikaru.Haruhi I just can't imagine Hikaru leaving Kaoru for her (more like I just don't want to). And, I wanted to try writing host club. Criticism would be seriously appreciated. Sorry for the shortness.

I. one step two step
They held fast two tightly clasped hands because they know it's not going to last. It could never last. These desperate, fumbling touches and needing kisses are just there to replace the well-known thought that one day it's going to have to end.
II. Ask me tomorrow but not today"Do you love me?"
Whispers of 'I love you' and 'my only one's are only uttered so truthfully in the comforting darkness of a single bedroom with two tightly clasped hands. And though it feels so right (so damn right) at the moment, they know it can't last forever (It could never last forever).
But, nobody will ever truly know this plight (this romantic plight of two star-crossed lovers so close and yet so far away). They will only ever see this surface act to please the customers.
They will only see the hollow touches, the almost kisses, and the implications that cause those deafening squeals (because even such a closed relationship as theirs could never become something so heinous as what they're implying).
III. Do you know which is which? No one will ever be able to tell. They will never be able to guess which is which ("Let's play the Which One is Hikaru game!").
And even that one person-that one person who could possibly guess which one really was Hikaru- she could never possibly guess. Not what was or when it had been.
So, there it stays when there is no one around. No one to see the simple kiss (too full of feeling and just plain love to be an act of simple brotherly love) or that cautious look, that reassuring touch.
Because they both knew it wasn't going to last.
It had to end sometime.
