Before you read this, I want everyone to know that I was inspired by a picture created by JaviDLuffy on Deviant Art. And yes, they gave me permission to use the idea. ;) Please go look at the picture! It is the cutest thing EVER!
Wordlessly, the boy with emerald hair knelt down, and began to pluck daisies that had grown among the grass. After a moment, he straightened back up so that he was at eye-level with the little girl before him. Shyly, he extended his arm and held out the small bouquet for her.
The ten-year-old blinked once, momentarily concealing her large indigo eyes behind a curtain of dark lashes. Then the corners of her mouth uplifted and widened into a smile.
"Oh, Ferb!" she exclaimed in a sweet, high-pitched voice. She reached out and wrapped her fingers around the stems, just above his own. Expressionless, Ferb let go of the flowers, and watched as she drew them close and held them under her button nose, the lower half of her face invisible behind the white petals.
Ferb's eyes were locked on her. She was unlike any girl he'd ever met before.
Despite the black dresses she always wore, she was far from girly, in complete contrast to Isabella. When he had first met her, she had been very shy. However, after spending more time with her, Ferb had discovered she was clever, animated (once she opened up), and even a little stubborn.
She was also very pretty.
Ferb watched as she withdrew one of the flowers from the bunch, and tucked it in her ear, so that it adorned her long brown hair.
Ferb allowed one of his own rare smiles, as Vanessa Doofenshmirtz beamed, her face seeming to shine.
Yeah, it's short. Intentionally, I thought I would write something bigger, but I needed something to post since it's 11/11/11. ;) However, I may build on this. I dunno yet. Consider this a "maybe-preview." ;)
