The Sky and The Lion Chapter 1: The Battle
It all started with one battle. One battle to change the fate of 2 youths, Forever.
"Hurry Up Skye!" Shouted the Boy
"I might be able to if you slow down Leon!" shouted the girl
The pair had been running for about five minutes now. Leon had wondered if they had taken a wrong turn in the forest but he knew it was impossible, the two had been through this route so many times the track had started to wear down.
After about another minute of running, the two escaped the forest and appeared into a clearing at the edge of a cliff. Surrounded by luscious grass and a great view of the whole valley, Leon and Skye settled down and sat on the two rocks they set there so they could rest as soon as they got to their secret garden.
All of a sudden Leon said "OK, are you ready Skye?"
"Of course" she replied.
The pair walked to each side of the Clearing and reached into their pockets and pulled out one red and white ball each.
"Go! Arcanine!"
"Go! Altaria!"
The Pokemon emerged from their pokeballs and stood in front of their trainers.
Leon Acted first. "Arcanine, Extremespeed!" Arcanine seemed to disappear and reappear right beside Altaria, before ramming into it.
Altaria Flinched as in was knocked toward the cliff. "Roost, Altaria!" commanded Skye as Altaria perched on a tree branch and the bruises for Arcanine's Attack seem to just, Fade away.
Skye saw an opportunity. "Altaria, DragonBreath!" A blue and red Flamethrower emerged for the dragon's mouth
But Leon was too quick. "Extremespeed, Arcanine!" And the Regal Dog disappeared and appeared above Altaria, but Skye was too cunning. "Dodge, Altaria!" And She stepped back as Arcanine hit the ground. "Dragon claw!" Called Skye and Arcanine was sent flying across the clearing.
"I'm finishing this!" Yelled Skye. "Altaria, full power, hyper beam!"
"Arcanine, Fire Blast!" and the two Pokémon unleashed their full force on each other.
In the final second, the two beams of energy and fire hit each other, causing a great flash to be sent across the land. When it faded, Leon saw a grave sight.
Skye lying on the ground…Unconscious.
"Skye! Skye!' Leon Yelled as he ran towards his best friend.
