Okay so this is the first chapter it was going to be on my other account but I still don't know the password... so hear it is
Today will be the start to my eighth year at Hogwarts. Ron and Harry both are not going back because they want to start on Auror training as soon as possible. My relationship with Ron has gone downhill since the Battle of Hogwarts. He needs to feel needed, but I feel as I don't need anyone because I can take care of myself. This year I have my own dorm since the lower years can't be trusted right now and it is kind of like the head dorm but I don't know who shares it with me.
I sit in the great hall paying no mind to all of the stares that are coming my way. None one else from my year and my house has come back. It is amazing how they rebuilt Hogwarts so fast, but I can only guess from magic. I really like to do things the what they call 'muggle' way because it reminds me of my family that has lost their memory's because of me. The Ministry of Magic still has not been able to find my parents that are in Australia.
"When everyone's finished eating only the seventh years and" she staggered "above so to speak please remain seated.", Headmaster McGonagall said as the meal was about to disclose.
Once the food disappeared we all waited for her to say her announcement. I had a feeling it was going to be a life changer. She just had that look of her about to ruin people's life like the look Harry had when he first came to Hogwarts.
After everyone else has left we all waited for her announcement.
"Everyone there has been issued a new law. As we all know that the wizard numbers have decreased after the war and each and ev Rooney of you has been paired off as your new spouse." McGonagall said
There was an outburst of voices as we all let the news settle in our minds. It might be nice to find out who I am matched too.
"As we all know that there are couples in this room so if you feel as if they are the person you feel is the one you are ready to spent your life with after school than you can marry that person, but you must marry someone after school ends for you." She waited before starting again, " If you know now than please leave this room with that person and get ready for the next chapter of your life's."
A couple of couples left and there was very few people in here since most of them had left to start their careers. After a while I heard a name I hoped to never hear in my lifetime. Draco Malfoy
" Draco Malfoy your match is" she paused " Hermione Granger? Well both of you come here please" we both went a gave each other a look " ok Hermione and Draco I know that you guys have a bad past but just try it out and if it doesn't work then we have replacement matches for you."
Draco spoke next " I am sure that will not be necessary. I am sure we will get along" he said in his very practiced voice
"Okay then you guys should go to your dorm" McGonagall said to us andwe walked away
