Twyla didn't really know what attracted her to Spectra Vondergeist in the beginning but there was definitely a word to describe what she thought of the flying phantom and that word was interesting. How she floated around trying to get the best news for her blog that everyone in monster high read, Tracking down leads out of school time, never resting in peace until she got a good story. Her determination was a quality that Twyla wished that she had in a way and that was why she admired the Ghostly Gossip.
But then what Twyla saw that day. The day that Spectra revealed her secret to the most popular ghouls in school. It made something sparked inside of her. What she didn't know but it was definitely a spark.
She had been watching. She had always been watching. From the deep corners off the room. Hidden.
'That doesn't seem Creepy does it?'
The ghostly gossip had been spreading false truths about the gang, one member in particular and it was making the ghouls turn against each other. They eventually hatched up a plan to catch the true ghostly gossip dead handed.
Twyla was excited.
As she was hiding in the shadows she wondered if Clawdeen would notice her just like her Howling younger sister always did but she looked a bit too preoccupied with what she was doing to really take any notice of the young boogieman. Twyla could also see anger in her eyes.
The plan was to bait out the gossiping ghost using their diaries.
"The diary that's untouched belongs to our traitor" Cleo had said.
As the diaries feel to the ground one by one Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Cleo turned their backs on one another. It was a whole two seconds before Spectra turned up to get the juice. She was quickly caught though and As the ghouls were interrogating her. That's when she said The words that sparked something inside Twyla's undead heart.
"Sadly i must remain a mystery, as such I don't have any friends here."
Twyla was stunned, although given the circumstances it wasn't that surprising. Spectra being the Ghostly Gossip must not have left much room for friends given the nature of the blog. Twyla decided then and there that she would try and befriend her idol before the year was out.
It was only later while she was lying in her bed at home did she realize what a difficult task that would be.
Authors notes
I was reading the monster High wiki and discovered that Spectra is one of Twyla's BFF although they've had no interaction, so that's how this story came about. This is just an introduction to the story but if i keep going it might turn Romantic at some point but I'm still figuring out the details of this story. If people want a continuation ill post a new chapter.
