Some days he was himself, others a cruel beast. It didn't seem like coveting a filial relationship with his son was such a bad thing. The ways he pursued that goal a bit fuzzy, but nothing out of control. Yet he found himself wondering... would his 'son' ever put value behind the word 'father'? Would that snide, haughty look ever escape the teen's eyes? The only time his son's words held emotion were when the topic of The Case appeared; whether or not he sabotaged again, to capture the thief with ill intentions- ones of power and corruption. Or when that boy suddenly waltzed into a rare conversation. What bounded them, other than the insufferable curse? Was there possibly... more... to the friendship?
That question sent indistinguishable urges through his blood stream. There was more. No doubt about it. His son's eyes would soften at the sight, long after the mention of that boy. Even to the point where Krad would stir at the name. Satoshi cared for him; valued him. His only weakness... and only stretch to humanity. How long would this last? Until Krad killed the boy? Or perhaps sooner... when feelings would consume him, confusion and lust seeping out like blood to leave him wasted away.
Yes. Waiting for that opportune moment would be best. But what would he do? Please his son... or destroy the Phantom Theif, that boy? He could easily take advantage of the defect, and wound his son past forgiveness. Or he could be the paternal figure he always longed for, a goal lost from power, and aid his son into the fertile plague of humanity.
A warm hand grasped his arm, tugging it closer to a sweaty torso. Kei looked beside him, ignoring the debauch sheets surrounding him and the polluted scent of semen, to his son's sleeping form, holding onto his arm like a child cuddling a teddy bear.
Or maybe being a father was an unattainable goal. He had already exploited his son's passion to the point where forgiveness meant nothing and abused the thawing heart inside. The desire to become a loving father morphed past any parent's willing capability. Past a father's rightful love, without being aware of it until it was impossible to stop.
Knowing all to well the dangers of waking his son right now, and not wanting to suffer through the pained look of betrayal and disgust, Kei slid under the covers, holding his son's naked body against his own.
And then Niwa suddenly meant everything and nothing. Everything to the possibilities; nothing to the reality. This lust controlling his son would pass. This chance for happiness teased both boys. Yet with himself in charge, Kei would manage it properly and make sure his son did not slip from his grasp. He owned Satoshi. Every bit of him. Every inch of his body.
His son would never know the loss of humanity. Why tempt him with such notions?
Why forfeit his property to an oblivious thief who may not even return his son's feelings?
He didn't want to.
And he found...
He shouldn't have to.
At first I was thinking "Kosuke and Daisuke!" but... it wouldn't have worked. I like this though. It shows how Krad is breaking him down, with the help of Kei, and his only chance for survival is Niwa. Heh. Review and tell meh what you think!
