Short Preview

Hey everyone! I am decided to try and write a new story. I got a new job and it has inspired me. But to make sure I am not totally off my game, I would love to see what y'all think of this little preview.

I was doing my normal work routine. I cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned the counters, have taken care of the customers that have arrived. I had just finished checking the shelves when a rather flashing and very good looking demon walked in. "Hello." I said to him. He nodded and then went about checking out the gas station. I decided it best to go behind the register and wait to see what the customer wanted.

After waiting the man decided to make his way up to the counter and take his sunglasses off. He had the most mesmerizing amber eyes I had ever seen. "Hello! How can I help you today?" I asked him. He nodded his head and then looked at me and examined me from head to toe. "What time do you get off?" He asked. No hello or can you help me. I was actually really surprise with how he was just blunt with his question. "Excuse me?" I asked him. He looked at me and didn't say a word.

I arched my brow and just crossed my arms. "Sir, I think it best you leave if you do not plan to purchase anything." I said as I turned to check things behind the counter. "Do you know who I am?" He asked me. I ignored him and went on with my job. "Do you have a problem?" He asked me. I sighed and then turned around, "No I don't have a clue who you are and with the way you act I do not care to even know who you are." I say and then go back to my job. "Hn." Was all and then he was gone. I sigh a huge sigh of relief. "Why do all the creeps have to come in when I am here?" I asked myself and then went on with the day.

"Hey Rin!" Called the night guy. "Hello, Jun." I said to him and then finished my paperwork. "How was the day?" He asked me. I smiled and then nodded. "Not too bad. Couple drunks on a Monday but other than that it's been good. I was able to get things cleaned up and then shelves faced." I told him and then put all the papers together and filed them. "See you later Jun." I said and clocked out.

My walk home has to be my favorite part of the day. I get to feel the breeze kiss my skin, the sun beating down and giving me warmth. I started to hum as I made my way across the street. This day could not get any better.
