The air of the temples changes when Agnès goes near the crystals. (Set in chapter 1-4, no major story spoilers)
Wind temple
The air was stagnant through the Wind temple, the heat was barely recognized as the party explored the ruins. Familiar rooms that once were warm and a comfort to Agnès were now foreign and decrepit. The trauma that the temple itself has gone through could be felt in the lack of wind.
When the Wind crystal was reawoken, the wind flourished. Biting at cloth and stone alike, the heavy wind lifted jagged sand and dust, flinging and carrying it for miles around. The wide entrance of the temple was brushed, a soft wind kept the outer sand at bay. The sand caked onto the walls of the temple was brushed off in a wave of wind, streaming down the hallways in a strangled, orange whirly-gig.
The four heroes rushed out of the archaic ruins, ferocious temple wind lashing at their hair and uncovered skin, glad to be back in Ancheim's desert. A calm breeze brushed past, and the windmills in the distance echoed and rumbled through the sand that lapped at their feet.
The wind was back, and it was certainly going to stay.
