Through Angela's Eyes.

Disclaimer: I don't own Bones.

Angela stared, watching Brennan and Sully deepen their kiss. She sighed thinking of how happy she was that he friend was finding a life outside of the Jeffersonian. She was happy that her friend was getting laid and that it wasn't some scumbag.

Angela took her eyes off of Brennan and glanced around knowing that if she stared too hard Jack would notice what was occurring in front of Brennan's office. She saw Booth, studying the file in his hands, walking blindly towards Brennan's office. She saw Booth halt in his tracks, with a pained look. Booth briskly walked back towards the exit. He didn't want to be seen.

Angela's heart was no longer satiated. She knew that she should still be joyful for her best friend, but the broken spirit that she saw walking away, dampened her enthusiasm.

"Guys, I'm going to go…." she paused trying to think of an excuse to leave the lab, "to lunch. Yeah. I'm going to an early lunch." She didn't wait for Hodgins' or Zack's reaction. She was marching toward the exit after Booth. She thought she knew where she could find him.

"Well, hi Booth! I see you're taking an early lunch break, too." Angela smiled at Booth and then over at Sid.

Booth grunted, knowing that Angela must have seen him. "Angela, you know I'm not talking," Booth shot her the best smile he could muster. "It's bad enough having to share with Gordon."

"Yes, I know therapy sucks. But, I'm sure Gordon doesn't know as much as I do about you two." She paused, "He doesn't know that you are both secretly head over heels for each other." Angela smiled at him. "Eh… maybe I'm not giving your therapist enough credit. He probably does know."

"Angela. Bones is not. I am not." Booth stared into space, willing Angela away.

"Booth…" Angela had so many things that she wanted to say, but she knew he wouldn't hear. One of these days you will both stop tap dancing around each other. The walls that you have both built with fall…. The imaginary lines that you both drew in the sand will be blown away. All the insignificant others that you have brought into your lives as distractions don't measure up to what you really want.

"Booth," Angela said again to get this attention, "One of these days..," she chuckled, "or years you'll both stop denying it. And it will be glorious…. And I will be watching from the sidelines." Angela, again, smiled at Booth.

Angela pondered her day, her sketchpad in hand. She made aimless lines across the paper to pass the time and keep her hands occupied while her brain drifted. She thought of the insignificant relationships that everyone used as fillers throughout their lifetimes. She thought of Booth & Cam, Booth & Tessa, Brennan & Michael, and Brennan & Sully. She had encouraged her friend to date, to get a life. Unfortunately, Brennan had gotten Sully. Angela smiled at her wasted paper. Sully was somewhat like Booth. He was a G-man. He was tall, dark, and handsome. He was somewhat of Booth's clone. Slightly less attractive and less charismatic, but they shared many characteristics. Angela shook her head at her art paper, giggling at her thoughts.

She went to make her self a cup of tea. Angela spooned some sugar into her cup. She stared into her cup. Brennan had found a Seeley substitute; Sully. Brennan had wanted a spoon full of real sugar, but wouldn't allow herself. So, Brennan had reached for Splenda; Sully. Angela giggled at her own silly analogy.

Maybe Brennan was on the right track after all.

A/N: This was my own way of dealing with the whole Season Two Sully situation. It was written directly after episode 214.

I haven't written fan fic in a while… and this is my first (and probably only) Bones FF. I apologize if this is completely out of character…. I also apologize because it hasn't been proofread.
