The warm autumn light filtered into the small solar which sat atop a tower known as the Runes, impart because it was the oldest section of the keep and certain sections were covered in runes. The room itself was dressed in thick cloth of northern design and had a small chair which was currently occupied by the current Lord Greene. Edwin Greene was tall by the standards of both his house and his lands though average in the eyes of most northerners. Edwin had the storm blue eyes that was known throughout his family but the unruly mop of black hair that came from having a Blackwood mother.

House Greene rules from the keep of Last Harbour which is located on an island of the southeastern coast of the North just below Widow's Watch. The island is heavily forested with two main peaks one is Sky's Cliff which is the smaller of the two but also the most wild while Atten's Peak is the tallest and the keep of Last Harbour is nestled at its base.

Edwin came to this whenever he wanted to be either alone or to think on news. This occasion was because a raven had come from King's Landing proclaiming the sentencing of Lord Eddard Stark to death due to charges of treason and his behedal. This had upset Edwin who greatly admired his leige lord but also saw him as a friend ever since they fought together during Robert's Rebellion.

I hope you enjoyed the intro with a purely tell commentary which allows for the setting to be well and truly set
